Samuel Aboabire, one other elected onto GFA ExCo

The Greater Accra Regional Football Association Chairman, Samuel Aboabire has been elected onto the Executive Council of the Ghana Football Association.

Mr Aboabire has been elected onto the GFA Executive Council after accumulating six votes during an election on Monday, November 13, 2023.

Also joining him on the Executive Council is the Northern Region FA Chairman Alhaji Abu Hassan Ryzo who was pulled six votes during the election.

The duo have unseated Linford Boadu Asamoah and Salifu Shaibu Zida who lost their positions after having four votes each during the elections.

– Frederick Acheampong (Ghana Premier League)

– Nana Oduro Sarfo (Ghana Premier League)

– James Kwesi Appiah (Ghana Premier League)

– Mark Addo (Division One League)

– Gideon Ofosu (Division One League)

– Eugene Noble (Division One League)

– Gifty Oware-Mensah (Women’s League)

– Samuel Aboabire (RFA Representative)

– Alhaji Abu Hassan (RFA Representative)
