I’ve issues with how congress is organised in the country – Wilson Arthur

Bankroller and owner of Division One League outfit, Skyy FC, Wilson Arthur has bemoaned about how the Ordinary Congress of the Ghana Football Association (GFA) is organised in the country.

According to Mr. Arthur, there are variables of how football is being steered in the country.

Among these problems, the football administrator pointed out the persistent ‘mass player exodus’ in Ghana’s top-flight football.

He, however, expressed displeasure with those at the helm of affairs of Ghana football, stating that they have failed woefully to find lasting solutions to these problems.

“Frankly speaking, me [Wilson Arthur] has issues with how congress is been administered in the country. You see, it seems like we don’t have the opportunity to speak and discuss these issues,” he added.

He said this in an exclusive interview with Owuraku Mantey of Hot FM on the sidelines of the Congress that took place at the Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology’s Great Hall.

Venting his frustration, the chairman of the MTN FA Cup committee said he cannot fathom why football administrators keep disappointing Ghanaians.

He seized the opportunity and suggested a comprehensive and deeper discussion at subsequent congress to help develop the growth of football in Ghana.
