Former Medeama SC towering defender, Vincent Atinga is reportedly close to joining Bibiani Goldstars on free transfer.

The 29-year old has reportedly concluded talks with Bibiani Goldstars, pending medical and signing of contract before the official announcement.

Atinga is joining Bibiani Goldstars as free agent after leaving Medeama SC some months ago following the expiration of his contract.

The former Hearts of Oak central defender is heading to Bibiani Goldstars to stabilize the defense of the club with his vast experience in the Ghanaian top-flight league.

After stints with Kuwaiti clubs Qadsia SC and Al Shabab alongside Albanian side KF Tirana, Vincent Atinga returned to the Ghana Premier League in 2021 to sign for Medeama SC.

In his three years stay with Medeama SC, Vincent Atinga made 74 appearances, scoring 21 goals for the club.

Atinga played an instrumental role in Medeama’s historic first Ghana Premier League title in 2022/23 season and was adjudged the player of the season for his excellent performance throughout the season.

He was the highest scoring defender in that season with eleven goals, ending the season as Medeama’s topscorer as well.

Atinga departed Medeama SC before the commencement of the 2023/24 league season after failing to renew his contract for the club.
