Bofoakwa Tano FC part ways with head coach Frimpong Manso

Ghana Premier League side Bofoakwa Tano FC have parted ways with head coach Frimpong Manso after just eleven matches.

Manso who was appointed the head coach of the Sunyani-based club prior to the commencement of the 2023/24 league season, has mutually abrogated his contract despite an impressive run with the team.

His sacking comes after Bofoakwa Tano FC goalless draw against Nsoatreman FC in week eleven of the Ghana Premier League at the Coronation Park in Sunyani last weekend.

Manso’s assistant coach Isaac Kofi Sarfo has also been fired after a meeting with the leadership of Bofoakwa Tano FC.

Bofoakwa Tano FC secured promotion to the Ghanaian top-flight league last season after beating Techiman Eleven Wonders in the division one league playoff fixture.

The team currently sit sixth on the Ghana Premier League log with sixteen points after eleven matches, just five points separating them and league leaders Aduana Stars.
