Mohammed Kudus faces late fitness test ahead of Comoros game

Ghana midfielder, Mohammed Kudus will undergo a late fitness before Black Stars game against Comoros on Tuesday, November 21, 2023.

The West Ham United talisman missed the Black Stars final training session at the Omnisports Stadium on Monday after reportedly complaining of a back problem.

He is expected to undergo late fitness test to determine whether he will be available for the Comoros game or not.

Kudus played the entire minutes when Ghana hosted Madagascar in the first game of the 2026 FIFA World Cup qualifiers at the Baba Yara Sports Stadium in Kumasi last Friday.

Ghana will be without Besiktas defender Daniel Amartey who failed a late fitness test after picking up an injury against Madagascar last Friday.

In absence of Amartey, Kassim Adams is expected to partner Nicholas Opoku in the heart of defence for the Black Stars against Comoros this evening.

Ghana is hoping to tame Comoros at the Omnisports Stadium in Moroni on Tuesday to go top of the Group I table.
