Black Stars: Chris Hughton gets full squad for Madagascar, Comoros games

Black Stars gaffer, Chris Hughton has had a full house to prepare for the 2026 FIFA World Cup qualifiers this month.

Hughton invited 25 players for the two matches against Madagascar and Comoros this month with Kamaldeen Sulemana and Abdul Mumin pulling out of the squad.

The duo were replaced by Leicester City winger Abdul Fatawu Issahaku and Medeama defender Nurudeen Abdulai who have already joined the Black Stars camp.

Twenty-two players partook in the team’s first training session at the Baba Yara Sports Stadium in Kumasi on Tuesday.

But Getsportsgh.com understands all 25 players participated in Wednesday’s training session with goalkeeper Lawrence Ati Zigi as the last player to report to camp.

Ghana will square off with Madagascar in the first game at the Baba Yara Sports stadium on Friday, November 17 before traveling to Moroni for the second game against Comoros on Tuesday, November 21,2023.
