Ampem Darkoa Ladies duo nominated for CAF inter-club player of the year award

Ampem Darkoa Ladies duo of Comfort Yeboah and Tracy Twum have been nominated for the inter-club best player of the year in the 2023 CAF Awards.

The two players played integral roles in Ampem Darkoa Ladies successes in the domestic league last season.

The duo have also been exceptional in Ampem Darkoa Ladies campaign in the ongoing CAF Women’s Champions League where the team has reached the semifinal stage.

Comfort Yeboah and Tracy Twum will compete with Refilwe Tholakele from Botswana, N’Guessan Nadege Koffi from Ivory Coast, Elena Oyana from Equatorial Guinea, Oumou Kone from Mali and Lebohang Ramaleppe from South Africa.

Others are Aziza Rabbah, Fatima Tagnaout and Ghizlane Chebbak all from Morocco.

Ampem Darkoa Ladies will face Sporting Casablanca from Morocco in the semifinal stage of the CAF Women’s Champions League with the winner to play either AS FAR from Morocco or Mamelodi Sundowns from South Africa in the final.
