Hearts of Oak fans call for return of coach Samuel Boadu

Hearts of Oak coach Martin Koopman is under a serious pressure as some supporters have begun calling for his exit.

This comes following the Phobians stalemate against Legon Cities FC at the Accra Sports Stadium on Sunday.

Hearts of Oak have had a torrid start to the season, languishing at the 11th position on the league table with just twelve points after ten matches, winning two matches with six draws and two defeats.

The former league champions have recorded just a victory in the last seven matches, a situation that has left most fans worried.

And following the team’s abysmal performance in the ongoing league season, some irate supporters of the Ghanaian football powerhouse have begun calling for the sack of Martin Koopman, with coach Samuel Boadu on the lips of these supporters.

Samuel Boadu is currently unattached with any club and has remained silent as to whether he would love to return to Hearts of Oak after his sacking in September, 2022.

Boadu guided Hearts of Oak to five trophies in his one-and-half-season at the club including one Ghana Premier League, two FA Cups, a Ghana Super Cup, and President’s Cup.
