Denis Odoi, others arrive in Black Stars camp for Madagascar, Comoros games

 

Club Brugge defender Denis Odoi has arrived at the Black Stars camp in Accra for 2026 FIFA World Cup qualifiers against Madagascar and Comoros.

The experience defender was among the Black Stars 25-man squad announced by coach Chris Hughton last week for this month qualifiers.

Odoi was the first player to land at the Black Stars camp in Accra to prepare for the two crucial games.

Also arriving at the Black Stars camp in Accra today are Baba Iddrisu, Joseph Paintsil and Abdul Fatawu Hamidu.

The rest of the players are expected to arrive at the Black Stars camp on Tuesday to commence preparations.

The Black Stars opened camp in Accra on Monday, November 13,2023 ahead of the two FIFA World Cup qualifiers against Madagascar and Comoros.

The squad will begin training at the Accra Sports stadium on Tuesday evening before moving to Kumasi on Wednesday to wrap up their preparations for the first game.

Ghana will square off with Madagascar in the first game at the Baba Yara Sports stadium on Friday, November 17 before traveling to Moroni for the second game against Comoros on Tuesday, November 21,2023.
