His signing comes as huge boost to Le Havre, who are currently seventh on Ligue 1 table following their promotion from Ligue 2.

Ayew has joined Le Havre with huge experience, having played for some of Europe’s biggest clubs, including Swansea City, West Ham, Fenerbahce, and Al Sadd.

He is not new to the French league, having spent over eight years at Olympique Marseille from 2007-2015 where he played 160 matches for the club, scoring 44 goals.

With his move to Le Havre completed, Andre Ayew is expected to join the Black Stars for 2026 FIFA World Cup qualifiers against Madagascar and Comoros.

Ghana will count on his experience in the upcoming two matches especially when experience chaps like Thomas Partey, Mohammed Salisu and Alexander Djiku will be missing out of the games.
