Mohammed Kudus grabs goal of the month award

Ghana midfielder, Mohammed Kudus has had his brilliant goal against Newcastle United winning West Ham United’s goal of the month award for October.

It was a debut league goal for Mohammed Kudus which cushioned West Ham United to secure a point against Newcastle United at the London Olympic Stadium last month.

The 23-year old defeated competition from teammate Lucas Paqueta, whose brace against Freiburg was nominated, and strikes from Roki Ueki of the women’s team and Gideon Kodua of the U21 side.

After scoring that wonderful goal, Mohammed Kudus continued with two stunning strikes in November, which was against Arsenal in the Carabao Cup and a bicycle kick against Brentford.

Kudus has been in a blistering form for West Ham United since joining the London-based club in the summer transfer window from Ajax FC.

In all competitions, Mohammed Kudus has so far scored five goals for West Ham United since his signing from Eredivisie side Ajax FC.

Mohammed Kudus is expected to continue his fine-form as Ghana will count on him in the 2026 FIFA World Cup qualifiers against Madagascar and Comoros this month.

With coach Chris Hughton expected to announce squad for the two World Cup games soon, Mohammed Kudus is expected to lead Ghana to triumph against Madagascar and Comoros.
