Fatawu Issahaku earns goal of the month nomination

Ghana winger, Abdul Fatawu Issahaku has had his brilliant goal against Swansea City nominated for Leicester City goal of the month for October.

The 19-year old has been exceptional for Leicester City in the English Championship with the nomination as a proof of his unimaginable impact in the team.

Issahaku netted the spectacular goal in a 3:1 victory against Swansea City with Kieran Dewsbury-Hall providing the assist in the 63rd minute.

He walloped the ball into the net from a point blank range.

Issahaku’s spectacular strike is competing with that of Kelechi Iheanacho, Harry Winks and two goals from experience striker Jamie Vardy for the award.

Fatawu Issahaku has been a sensation since joining Leicester City on loan from Sporting CP before the commencement of the 2023/24 league season.

The former Dreams FC talisman has had a goal and assist in twelve matches across all competitions for Leicester City this season.

His contribution to Leicester City has cushioned the former Premier League champions to open a four-point gap at the top of the Championship table.

Fatawu Issahaku is expected to continue his fine-form for Leicester City in their next fixture against Middleborough this weekend.
