Be patient, Kotoko is under rebuilding - Ameenu Shadow

General Manager of Dreams FC, Ameenu Shadow has urged Asante Kotoko fans to be patient as the club is under a rebuilding process.

Asante Kotoko have had a sloppy start to the season, failing to record a win in their last four league matches.

The situation escalated when Asante Kotoko were beaten at home by Dreams FC in week nine of the Ghana Premier League last weekend.

Asante Kotoko were shockingly beaten 1:0 at the Baba Yara Sports Stadium with teenage midfielder Abdul Aziz Issah scoring the only goal of the game from a sublime free-kick.

Just after the match, Asante Kotoko fans booed the players and officials of the club as a way of expressing their dissatisfaction with the performance of the team against Dreams FC.

But Ameenu Shadow believes Asante Kotoko will come good with time as the club is under a rebuilding process, urging the fans to be patient and continue to support the team.

“The fans should exercise patience. Kotoko is a big club and I know fans will always demand for win, but it’s noteworthy the team is under rebuilding which require patience” he told Kessben FM.

“At this point in time, you must know Dreams FC is playing in the CAF inter-club championship and so our status has risen. We are no longer a small club to be trounced by any other club.” he added.

Asante Kotoko are currently languishing at the 14th position on the Ghana Premier League table with just ten points after nine matches.
