Prosper Narteh Ogum, the head coach of Asante Kotoko says he is not under any pressure despite the team’s poor performance.

The Porcupine Warriors were shockingly beaten 1:0 by Dreams FC in week nine of the Ghanaian top-flight league at the Baba Yara Sports Stadium on Sunday.

It was teenage midfielder Abdul Aziz Issah who netted the only goal from a sublime free-kick in the 39th minute of the game.

Kotoko have now suffered a back-to-back defeats having lost to Nsoatreman FC at the Nana Koramansah Park in Nsoatre during the midweek.

But the defeat to Dreams FC came as very disappointing to Asante Kotoko fans who booed the players and officials after the game.

Speaking after the game, coach Narteh Ogum indicated that there is no pressure on him despite the team’s uninspiring performance.

“I don’t feel under pressure because we are playing in a league and losing games occurs in competition at all levels,” he said.

Asante Kotoko are now languishing at the 14th position on the league log with 10 points with two wins, four draws and three defeats.

The Porcupines will be hoping to return to winning ways when they travel to Samreboi to face FC Samartex at the Nsenkyire Sports Complex this weekend.
