Asamoah Gyan wins 3-year court battle against his ex-wife

Ghana legend, Asamoah Gyan has finally won a three-year court battle against his former wife Gifty Gyan, according to the spokesperson of the football star, Kwaku Obeng popularly known as Maestro.

The former Sunderland striker went to court some three years ago seeking for annulment of his marriage to Gifty, questioning the paternity of their kids and asking for a DNA test on all of their three children.

And after three years of fierce legal tussle, it has come to light that before their marriage, Gifty had gotten married to another man hence court annulling her marriage with Asamoah Gyan.

Explaining the court verdict on Tuesday, October 31, Kwaku Obeng indicated the High Court ruled that Asamoah Gyan has to settle his former wife with their mansion in UK and a four-bedroom apartment at Spintex in Accra.

He said the court also adjudicated that two vehicles owned by Gifty but in Asamoah Gyan ‘s possession and a land designated for construction of a filling station be handed over to her among other financial obligations.

Before the court case, Asamoah Gyan and Gifty have married for over a decade with three children, namely, Rafael Gyan, Frederick Gyan, Floyd Gyan.
