Hearts of Oak duo return to training ahead of Bibiani Goldstars game

Ghanaian giants, Hearts of Oak have been handed a huge boost as two of its players have returned to training ahead of Ghana Premier League week seven fixture against Bibiani Goldstars.

The Phobians will travel to Bibiani for the crucial fixture at the Dun’s Park on Saturday, October 28 with Gideon Asante and David Oppong Afrane returning to training with the rest of their teammates.

Oppong Afrane missed Hearts of Oak last game against FC Samartex at the Accra Sports Stadium due to a minor injury.

The towering defender who joined Hearts of Oak from King Faisal in the transfer window, has suddenly become an influential figure in the team with his return deemed as huge boost to the Phobians ahead of Bibiani Goldstars trip.

The 21-year old is expected to partner Kelvin Osei Asibey in the heart of defense for Hearts of Oak against Bibiani Goldstars on Saturday.

Also joining the team’s training session on Wednesday is midfielder Gideon Asante who is yet to feature for Hearts of Oak this season due to abdominal problems.

His return comes as huge boost to Hearts of Oak who will need his creativity in midfield against Bibiani Goldstars at the Dun’s Park in Bibiani.

Hearts of Oak are hoping to get a positive result against Bibiani Goldstars after winning only a game out of five this season.
