Hearts of Oak head coach, Martin Koopman has been given three matches ultimatum to save his job, according to reports in the media.

The Ghanaian giants have only secured a victory out of five matches, scoring just a goal which came against Nsoatreman FC in week three of the Ghana Premier League at the Accra Sports Stadium.

After a goalless game against FC Samartex last weekend, Hearts of Oak are currently languishing at the 17th position on the Ghana Premier League log with just five points after five matches.

The Phobians sloppy start to the season has left most fans worried with some calling for the sack of coach Martin Koopman as soon as possible.

But the management of the former league champions have given Martin Koopman the next three matches to turn the fortunes of the club or faced being shipped out.

Getsportsgh.com understands the games include Bibiani Goldstars at the Dun’s Park, Medeama SC at the Accra Sports Stadium and the outstanding fixture against Hearts of Lions at the Hohoe Sports Stadium.

Martin Koopman was appointed Hearts of Oak head coach prior to the commencement of the 2023/24 league season after the sacking of interim coach David Ocloo.
