Hearts of Oak head coach, Martin Koopman has expressed his disappointment in the club’s sloppy start to the ongoing league season.

The Ghanaian football powerhouse have only managed a win after five matches, scoring just goal despite an incredible pre-season campaign.

The situation of the club has left most fans worried with some calling for the sacking of head coach Martin Koopman.

Hearts of Oak, who won the league title three seasons ago under coach Samuel Boadu, are currently finding themselves in the relegation zone after five matches with an outstanding game against Hearts of Lions.

The Phobians will travel to Bibiani Goldstars for week seven of the Ghana Premier League with Martin Koopman determined to revive the club with a win at the dreaded Dun’s Park.

“For the fans, I know they are sad, I’m also sad as well as my players, so I hope in the next game I can give them the three points”, the Dutch trainer said.
