GFA announces support for Ampem Darkoa Ladies

The Ghana Football Association (GFA) has announced support to Ampem Darkoa Ladies ahead of the upcoming CAF Women’s Champions League.

Ampem Darkoa Ladies will be representing Ghana in the 2023/24 season of the CAF Women’s Champions League after winning the WAFU Zone B Championship.

And as a way of supporting the reigning Ghana Women’s Premier League champions, GFA has offered the Ghanaman Technical Center to the club to prepare for the Champions League.

The GFA says it will cater for all expenses to enable Ampem Darkoa Ladies to prepare adequately for the championship.

The Ghana Football Association(GFA) has offered the Ghanaman Technical Center, Prampram to Ampem Darkoa Ladies in preparation for the CAF Women’s Champions League.

The week long camping in the facility is fully funded by the GFA as a contribution towards their campaign in the main champions league.

A contingent of 26 players and 8 Technical team members arrived at the Technical Centre Tuesday, October 25 to prepare for the tournament.

This is the second time this year that the GFA is supporting Ampem Darkoa. The team benefitted from a two-week camping at the same facility before proceeding to win the WAFU Zone B qualifiers in Benin City, Nigeria.

Ampem Darkoa Ladies are paired with AS FAR Club, AS Mande and Huracanes FC in Group B. The tournament is scheduled to commence on November 5, 2023 in Ivory Coast.
