Abednego Tetteh joins FC Hoyvik in Faroe Islands

Ghanaian striker, Abednego Tetteh has joined Faroe Islands second-tier club FC Hoyvik after winning the Ghana Premier League golden boot last season.

The 33-year old has joined FC Hoyvik on free transfer following his departure from Ghana Premier League side Bibiani Goldstars after the 2022/23 league season.

Tetteh has already started showcasing his quality for FC Hoyvik, scoring a goal in just two matches.

The former Hearts of Oak attacker won the Ghana Premier League topscorer gong last season with 18 goals for Bibiani Goldstars.

Abednego Tetteh decided not to sign for any Ghanaian club after he was denied a Black Stars call-up despite emerging the golden boot winner.
