2023 SWAG Elections; Kwabena Yeboah retains seat; Check full list of winners

The Sports Writers Association of Ghana (SWAG) has held a successful elections on Saturday, October 21, 2023.

The elections held virtually was to elect new leaders to steer the affairs of the association for the next four years.

Astute sports journalist, Kwabena Yeboah retained the chairmanship seat, going unopposed same as Charles Osei Asibey who also maintained his General- Secretary position.

Former assistant head of sports for Sunyani-based Space FM, Evelyn Nsiah-Asare has unseated the incumbent vice president Maurice Quansah in the elections.

Evelyn Nsiah-Asare amassed 128 votes as against Maurice Quansah’s 68.

Kenneth Odeng Adade retained his position as the deputy general Secretary, defeating competition from Takoradi-based ace sportscaster Oti Asirifi Mensah Joseph with 148 votes against 43.
