Asante Kotoko duo to miss Aduana Stars game

Asante Kotoko have been dealt a huge blow as two influential players have been ruled out of Aduana Stars clash on Friday, October 13, 2023.

The duo of Baba Yahaya and Samuel Asamoah have been ruled out of the crucial game in week five of the Ghana Premier League due to injury.

Defender Samuel Asamoah will be unavailable for the Aduana Stars fixture after sustaining an injury and might miss Asante Kotoko next two matches.

For Baba Yahaya, reports reaching indicate that the talented midfielder picked up an injury during Asante Kotoko last training session and has been replaced by Enoch Morrison for the Aduana Stars cracker.

Asante Kotoko go into the game with a higher confidence after beating Accra Lions in their last game at the Accra Sports Stadium.

Before the Accra Lions game, Asante Kotoko had gone three matches without a win drawing against Hearts of Lions and Karela United and losing to Bibiani Goldstars at the Dun’s Park.

And even though Asante Kotoko will be missing the service of Samuel Asamoah and Baba Yahaya, the likes of Steven Mukwala Dese, Bernard Somuah, Kalo Quattara, Justice Blay and Richmond Lamptey are expected to dazzle against Aduana Stars at the Baba Yara Sports Stadium in Kumasi on Friday.
