Four players withdraw from Black Stars squad for Mexico, USA friendlies

The Ghana Football Association (GFA) has announced that four Black Stars players have pulled out of Mexico and USA friendly games.

The four players are Tariq Lamptey, Daniel Amartey, Alexander Djiku and Osman Bukari.

Tariq Lamptey, Daniel Amartey, Alexander Djiku and Osman Bukari have pulled out of the two friendlies against Mexico and the United States of America due to injuries.

The quartet have been replaced by Kingsley Schindler, Jerome Opoku and Stephan Ambrosius.

Schindler and Stephan Ambrosius are currently in camp in Charlotte to prepare for the two games whiles Jerome Opoku is expected on Wednesday.

Ghana will take on Mexico on Saturday, October 14 at the Bank of America stadium in Charlotte, North Carolina before playing the pUnited States of America on Tuesday, October 17, 2023 at GEODIS Park, Nashville- Tennessee.
