Kwesi Appiah, two other Ghanaian coaches land in Saudi Arabia to takeover Sudan coaching job

Ghanaian tactician, James Kwesi Appiah have touched down in Saudi Arabia to takeover Sudan national team coaching job.

Kwesi Appiah has been appointed the head coach of the Sudan national team after fruitful negotiations.

The Asante Kotoko technical director is returning to Sudan for the second time after coaching Sudanese top-flight side, Khartoum Watani leading the team to the CAF Confederation Cup qualifiers in 2017.

Kwesi Appiah has landed in Saudi Arabia where the Sudanese players will be camping for their upcoming international assignment due to the unrest in the North African country.

He landed in Saudi Arabia alongside Ignatius Osei-Fosu and former Black Stars goalkeeper Fatau Dauda who will be serving as the assistant coach and goalkeeper’s trainer respectively.

Kwesi Appiah is expected to revive the Sudan national team before his tenure end.
