Kurt Okraku re-elected as GFA President

Kurt Okraku has been re-elected as the president of the Ghana Football Association (GFA).

The Liverpool trained football administrator retained his seat by acclamation during the association’s elective congress in Tamale on Thursday, October 5, 2023.

Mr Okraku went unopposed as his main competitor George Afriyie was disqualified for failing to get the required number of signatures to support his candidacy.

Getsportsgh.com understands, out of the 120 voters, Kurt Okraku accumulated 117 while two of the delegates voted against his endorsement.

Kurt Okraku will continue his mandate as the GFA President for another four years.
