Asante Kotoko is not a rebuilding club - Joe Debrah

In the wake of Asante Kotoko poor performance in the ongoing league campaign, Joe Debrah, a legend of the club has urged the playing body to up their game since the supporters have no time to wait.

The Porcupine Warriors have gone three matches without a win which has kept most supporters complaining.

Most connoisseurs of the local game believes Asante Kotoko is in rebuilding process based on the club’s signings in the just ended transfer window, and the players will need time to jell.

But Joe Debrah holds a different view as he believes Asante Kotoko is a result-oriented club and must be winning at all time to make the supporters happy.

“Asante Kotoko does not know rebuilding. It is not a rebuilding club. Kotoko is a team that heads straight up when the league starts. We have the players already and when the league starts, we just move. The coaches and people are saying rebuilding so let’s see”, Mr Debrah told Kumasi-based Kessben FM.

He added; “right now teams that face Kotoko don’t have any fear, I don’t even know why. The players need to do extra training. No personal training, they only rely on team’s training.”
