George Afriyie secures court injunction against 2023 GFA elections

Former Vice President of the Ghana Football Association (GFA), George Afriyie has obtained a court injunction against the association’s upcoming elections.

Mr Afriyie was disqualified by the GFA elections committee from contesting in the elections scheduled to take place in Tamale on October 5, 2023.

The astute football administrator who was contesting for the GFA Presidential seat had his appeal dismissed few days ago.

Mr Afriyie has secured the court injunction to put the highly-talked about GFA elections on hold until the final determination of his case.

The Planners FC bankroller was contesting the incumbent Kurt Okraku for the GFA presidential seat after losing it four years ago.
