Kwesi Appiah to earn THIS amount as Sudan head coach

Ghanaian gaffer James Kwesi Appiah has been named the head coach of the Sudan national team.

The 63-year old has been handed the Sudan national team coaching job after a fruitful agreement with the country’s football association.

Getsportsgh.com understands the Asante Kotoko technical director will earn US$50,000 monthly salary as Sudan head coach.

Kwesi Appiah is expected to leave for Saudi Arabia (where the Sudan team will be camping due to the unrest in the country) to commence work as the head coach of the Sudan national team.

It is believed that three Ghanaian coaches, Assistant Coach, Goalkeepers Trainer and Fitness Coach who are yet to be determined would also join coach Kwesi Appiah to reshape the Sudan national team ahead of international competitions.

The former Black Stars tactician is returning to Sudan for the second time after coaching Sudanese top-flight side, Khartoum Watani leading the team to the CAF Confederation Cup qualifiers in 2017.

Kwesi Appiah is currently vying to become executive member of the Ghana Football Association executive Council.
