Alan Kyeremanten promises ‘world-class’ sports facilities as president

Presidential hopeful of the 2024 general election, Alan Kyerematen has pledged infrastructural deficit to ensure construction of “world-class” sports facilities in Ghana.

According to him he will oversee this promises when elected as President in the 2024 general elections.

Speaking on his 15-point Great Transformational Plan (GTP), for the country Mr Kyerematen outlined his proposal of investing in sports.

“Investing in world class new generation sports facilities in selected competitive sporting disciplines.

“In this regard, Government will encourage the participation of the private sector in the development of sports infrastructure around the country, including sports academies,” he said.

He stated that his administration would include the establishment of sports academies.

The former New Patriotic Party (NPP) Presidential hopeful made the promises when he announced his resignation from the party on Monday, September 25, 2023.

As such, he declared his intention to contest the 2024 polls as an independent candidate
