However, can exclusively reveal that the Sudan FA has been in crunch talks with Kwesi Appiah to takeover the national team job, but no agreement has been reached.

Per our sources, Kwesi Appiah has been in talks with the Sudan FA before his appointment onto the Asante Kotoko interim management committee but the discussion halted due to unrest in the Northeast African country.

We understand that talks resumed few days ago with the Sudan FA assuring the Ghanaian gaffer that the unrest in the country won’t affect his job since the national team will be camping in Saudi Arabia.

Coach Kwesi Appiah then asked the Sudanese FA to submit a proposal of which they are yet to send it as at the time of filing this report.

Should the proposal enticed the former Asante Kotoko defender, he will proceed to Manhyia Palace in Kumasi to seek for the permission of Asantehene Otumfuo Osei Tutu II before accepting the job.
