Kwesi Appiah has not been appointed Sudan head coach – Personal aide

The Personal aide of coach Kwesi Appiah, Asante Ferkuo has denied reports that the astute gaffer has been appointed Sudan head coach.

Reports in the local were that Kwesi Appiah has been named Sudan national team head coach despite working for Asante Kotoko as technical advisor.

Responding to a chat with Getsportsgh.com, Asante Ferkuo disclosed that Zambia, Sudan and other clubs have approached coach Kwesi Appiah but the former Black Stars tactician has not signed for any team.

“This is not true as at today Wednesday 20th September, 2023. I can confirm that some National teams like Zambia, Sudan and clubs have expressed interest in coach Kwesi Appiah but he has never signed any contract with any team”, he said.

Mr Kwesi Appiah is currently a member of the Asante Kotoko interim management committee, serving as the technical advisor.
