Ghana annihilate Rwanda in Kigali

Ghana has begun the 2024 Women’s African Cup of Nations (WAFCON) qualifiers on a brighter note after an emphatic victory against Rwanda in the first leg on Wednesday, September 20, 2023.

The Black Queens whitewashed their counterpart from Rwanda by 0:7 at the Kigali Pelè stadium in Kigali.

Both Anastasia Achiaa and Evelyn Badu registered a brace each for Ghana with Alice Kusi, Priscilla Adobeah and Evelyn Badu all finding themselves on the score sheet.

This was Ghana’s first shot in the qualifiers with coach Nora Häuptle at the helms of affairs.
