Ghana defender Tariq Lamptey was adjudged the man-of-the-match in Brighton’s emphatic 3:1 victory at the Old Trafford on Saturday.

Lamptey provided an assist for Pascal Gross to net the second goal after Danny Welbeck had shot the Seagulls to the lead.

The versatile lateral then created Joao Predro’s goal and Brighton’s third as De Zerbi’s men tore apart Manchester United in front of their own fans.

Lamptey is expected to continue his impeccable form as Ghana count on him in the 2026 FIFA World Cup qualifiers in November this year…
