Annor Walker blames his players for Bofoakwa Tano draw

Great Olympics coach Annor Walker has blamed his players for poor performance against Bofoakwa Tano FC in week one of the Ghana Premier League.

The two traditional clubs settled for a stalemate at the Accra Sports Stadium on Saturday.

And Annor Walker who is not satisfied with the draw believes his players failed to play to his instructions.

“In fact the first half they dominated the game until the second half I had to make some changes that we had to have a drawn game.

“That is players, you will teach them and when they get there, they will do a different thing”, a disappointed Annor Walker who returned to Great Olympics from FC Samartex after the 2022/23 season told Startimes in an interview after the game.

He added: “So I give the blame to my players.”

Great Olympics are yet to amass victory against Bofoakwa Tano FC in their last three encounters.

The Oly Dade lads play their next game to city rivals Accra Lions on match day two in the Ghana Premier League.
