Medeama tame Horoya AC in Cape Coast

Ghanaian Champions Medeama SC have beaten Horoya AC 3:1 in the first leg of the final round of the CAF Champions League preliminary stage on Sunday, September 17.

The Mauve and Yellow ensured the second fixture becomes a mere formality with Nana Kofi Babil, Nurudeen Abdulai and Patrick Asmah netting the goals for Medeama.

Horoya AC managed to reduced the deficit in the 85th minute after being under pressure throughout the entire second half of the game at the Cape Coast Sports Stadium.

Medeama will travel to Guinea for the reverse fixture next weekend with the Ghanaian outfit hoping to secure a ticket to the group stage of the competition.
