Legon Cities secure comeback win over Karela United

Legon Cities FC showed enough muscles to commence the Ghana Premier League with a comeback win over Karela United on Sunday, September 17.

Karela United was shot the lead through Kharem Ayeh in the 43rd minute with a perfect goal.

The first half ended with Karela United on the lead.

Legon Cities FC returned from the recess to dominate possession and knock on the doors of Karela United for the equalizer.

Frank Antwi netted the equalizer for Legon Cities FC before adding the second goal to seal a 2:1 victory for the home side.

It was Antwi’s debut game for Legon Cities FC after joining the club in the just ended transfer window.
