‘I need help badly’ – ailing former Asante Kotoko player cries out 

Former Asante Kotoko striker Ibrahim Osman is appealing to all and sundry for assistance after being rendered helpless due to injury.

He noted that following his injury at the porcupine worriors coupled with his contract expiration, the club has neglected him.

The situation he said is having negative impact on his football career because he has been sideline for almost more than a year without any help.

Ibrahim Osman whose contract with the Porcupine Warriors ended in June 2023, has been battling with an Anterior Cruciate Ligament (ACL) injury for over a year leaving him clubless.

This was after he had returned to Asante Kotoko in August 2022, after his loan spell at King Faisal with the injury.

Osman however alleged that the Ghana Premier League side led by then CEO Nana Yaw Amponsah has neglected him with the latter going the extent to blocked his attempts to reach out for assistance.

Sharing his frustration with Accra-based Angel FM, the talented goal monger said he needs support to enable him return to action to rediscover his career.

“Frankly speaking, I need help badly because I have no one. People Think I have travelled out of the country but I am in my house, I didn’t go anywhere,” Ibrahim Osman chronicled.

The development comes on the back of the death of Legon Cities goalkeeper, Sylvester Sackey after a short illness.

Notwithstanding, fellow Legon Cities and Black Galaxies goalkeeper, William Essu, is in a sick condition where he appealed for help over claims the club rejected hm.

However, after the news came to light, the Professional Footballers Association of Ghana (PFAG), on Thursday, September 14, extended support to the player.

It was when Vice president, Tetteh Zutah, and General Secretary, Anthony Baffoe, paid a visit to the ailing Legon Cities goalkeeper.
