Joseph Hendricks turns truck drive

Former Asante Kotoko defender and captain Joseph Hendricks is now a truck driver after relocating to the United States.

Hendricks relocated to the United States months ago and has expressed excitement with his new job.

The veteran defender otherwise known as ‘Oreba’ has joined the likes of Nana Arhin Duah, Mark Adu Amfofah and Kwame Obeng Darko as former Asante Kotoko players who have made similar moves in the American country after retiring from football.

The 48-year old begun his career with Sekondi Wise Fighters before joining Asante Kotoko where he was named the captain after a few seasons.

He switched to AshantiGold SC after spending seven years at Asante Kotoko.

And after a season at AshantiGold, Joseph Hendricks  signed with Hapoel Ironi Rishon LeZion FC but returned to Ghana in April, 2009 to sign for then Ghanaian top-flight side All Blacks FC.
