Ex-Hearts of Oak and Kotoko player gets top appointment; check role

Former Hearts of Oak and Asante Kotoko talisman Isaac Osei Bonsu has been appointed as the head coach for Akim Asaikwa Division Two-base club ‘The Story Untold.’

The FIFA linsces holder replaces former coach Adolf Adu Botway who recently resigned from his position due to health condition.

Coach Isaac Osei signed a two-year contract with “To The World” flank with an option for another year renewa.

He’s expected to arrive in time for the Club’s pre-season ahead of the 2023/24 Division Two League campaign.

The President of ‘The Story Untold FC Samuel Ayinor in an interview with the team communication said “We are delighted to have Isaac Osei Bonsu as our Head Coach for the coming season.”

”Isaac Osei has an enormous proficiency of the landscape having coached in the Ghana Premier League with Inter Allies where he had a successful tenure with the club.”

During his playing days, Isaac Osei Bonsu played for Ghana Premier League giants Hearts of Oak and Kumasi Asante Kotoko from 1999 to 2005 under trainers like Willie Klutse, Akwasi Afranie, George Lamptey, and Herbert Addo.

He traveled to continue his football career in places like Togo, Burkina Faso, Nigeria, Malaysia, and Turkey before aspiring his coaching career for a FIFA license

In 2016, former Ghana Premier League side, Inter Allies assigned him as head coach.

He has also coached teams like Prestige FC, Bright Stars FC, Black Kings FC, and Jancole Academy.
