VIDEO: Ex-Kotoko goalkeeper endorses GFA capo Kurt Okraku for re-election

Former Asante Kotoko goalkeeper, George Owu has thrown his support behind GFA President Kurt Okraku, endorsing him for re-election.

Okraku who was elected GFA capo in 2019, is seeking for a re-election in the forthcoming elections as his first term comes to an end in October this year.

The Dreams FC bankroller could go unopposed as his main competitor George Afriyie has been disqualified by the elections committee of the Ghana Football Association.

The Planners FC bankroller has filed for an appeal at the GFA challenging his disqualification from the GFA Presidential election race.

But speaking on Onua FM in Accra, George Owu believes Kurt Okraku deserve another term to revamp the image of Ghana football which was in the mud after the Anas Aremeyaw Anas number 12 video which uncovered the rot in the country’s football parlance.

To the former Black Stars netminder, Kurt Okraku has done a yeoman’s job in his first term and must be given the nod in the upcoming GFA elections.


He justifies his endorsement of the GFA boss by rating him 75%, something he believes giving him another mandate will make him to continue the good works he started.
