Medeama striker Jonathan Sowah makes Ghana debut against Liberia

 

Medeama SC forward Jonathan Sowah has made his debut for Ghana in a friendly against Liberia at the Accra Sports Stadium on Tuesday, September 12, 2023.

The in-form striker came in from the bench at the 80th minute to showcase an incredible performance and nearly netted his first Black Stars goal.

He was unused substitute in Black Stars game against Central African Republic in the last fixture of the 2023 AFCON at the Baba Yara Sports Stadium in Kumasi last Thursday.

Sowah earned a Black Stars call-up following his impressive form for Medeama SC in the Ghanaian top-flight league.

The lethal attacker made a significant impact by notching up an impressive tally of 12 goals in 18 matches during his inaugural season with the Mauve and Yellows.

He further demonstrated his prowess by securing the decisive goal for Medeama in their CAF Champions League encounter against Remo Stars in Cape Coast.
