According to a statement exclusively available to, the appeal was successful filed at the secretariat of the GFA coupled with a notice of filing a supplementary case via email.

Upon arrival at the entrance of the GFA Headquarters, they were blocked by security men from entering the premises to carry out the exercise.

It is interesting to note that my lawyers were informed that they have direct instructions not to allow them to enter the premises.”

The statement added that despite the patience and persistence of its legal team to enter the premises to file the hard copies of the supplementary case, they were blocked.

“I had to call on the support of one of my personal assistants, Isaac Wilberforce Koomson, to assist in getting the documents accepted by the receptionist of the GFA,” a disappointed George Afriyie said.

He used the medium and thanked all and sundry most especially the media for playing watchdog roles on the development.

“I devote my heartfelt gratitude to gallant members of the media, the watchdogs of freedom of expression and fairness, who widely reported the use of Machoism and Machiavellianism to frustrate the process of filing our appeal,” he expressed.
