OFFICIAL: Fatawu Issahaku completes Leicester City switch

Getsportsgh.com understands Leicester City have rejected the late invitation to Fatawu Issahaku as the club’s manager Enzo Maresca want to work on the teenager before the league season resumes after the international break.

Issahaku joined Leicester City six days ago on a loan deal from Sporting Club in Portugal and even made his debut in the English Championship last weekend.

But it seems the former Dreams FC talisman may not join the Black Stars squad for the 2023 AFCON qualifier at the Baba Yara Sports Stadium in Kumasi on Thursday, September 7, 2023.

Ghana will need at least a point from the Central African Republic game on Thursday to secure qualification to the 2023 AFCON tournament in Ivory Coast next year.
