We can surprise Ghana - Central African Republic coach

Central African Republic head coach, Raoul Savoy is confident his team have what it takes to surprise Ghana in the 2023 AFCON qualifier.

Ghana host Central African Republic in the last game of the 2023 AFCON qualifiers at the Baba Yara Sports Stadium in Kumasi on Thursday, September 7, 2023.

And even though Ghana is favorite to win the game to secure ticket to the 2023 AFCON tournament in Ivory Coast, Raoul Savoy believes his team are capable of beating the star-studded Black Stars team in Kumasi on Thursday.

Breaking: Black Stars top player ruled out of AFCON qualifier

Speaking to pressmen on Wednesday ahead of the crucial game, Raoul Savoy admitted that Ghana have the best of players but his side can deny the Black Stars the chance to play in the 2022 AFCON in Ivory Coast.

“I know what my players can do. I have huge respect for Ghana because I know they are far ahead than our country when it comes to the national team but I like surprises and I believe we can surprise Ghana”, he said.

Ghana will need at least a point to secure a qualification to the 2023 AFCON tournament in Ivory Coast.
