Ghana will go into the game without in-form Genk winger Joseph Paintsil who has pulled out due to a late injury.

Getsportsgh.com has been monitoring the Black Stars training sessions attentively and these eleven players below could start the crucial game for the Black Stars on Thursday as Ghana will need at least a point to secure a ticket to the 2023 AFCON.

Coach Chris Hughton could start the crucial game in a 4-2-3-1 formation.

Lawrence Ati Zigi

The St Gallen netminder could make the starting berth for tomorrow’s game despite the presence of Jojo Wollacott and the return of Richard Ofori who is determined to reclaim his number one spot.

Alidu Seidu

The Clermont Foot versatile defender could start as the right-back for the epic game.

Per our analysis, Alidu Seidu is slightly ahead of Kingsley Schindler for the right-back role even though Kingsley has been exceptional during the entire training sessions.

Abdul Baba Rahman

Rahman has made a return to the Black Stars after missing out in the last game against Madagascar.

Even though Gideon Mensah has been incredible at training, Baba Rahman seems likely to begin the left-back role against Central African Republic.

Alexander Djiku

Due to the absence of Daniel Amartey and Mohammed Salisu, Alexander Djiku has become the favorable option to start the center-back role.

Even though Aidoo hasn’t replicated his fine-form at Celta Vigo for the Black Stars whenever given the opportunity, the 27-year old could start for the Black Stars against Central African Republic on Thursday.

He is currently in a blistering form for Celta Vigo in the Spanish Laliga and has been actively involved in the Black Stars training sessions.

Abdul Samed Salis

The highly-talented midfielder is likely to start the defensive midfield role for Ghana against Central African Republic due to the absence of Arsenal ace Thomas Partey who is out of action for six weeks with a groin injury.

Per the training sessions of the Black Stars, Salis is coach Chris Hughton’s preferable choice to start the defensive midfield role tomorrow.

Elisha Owusu

The Auxerre midfielder could partner Abdul Salis Samed in midfield against Central African Republic.

Kudus Mohammed

The West Ham United midfielder could start on the right wing for Ghana against Central African Republic tomorrow.

Throughout the training sessions, Kudus has been playing from the right wing and it seems likely to start as the right winger.
