PICTURES: Black Stars arrive in Kumasi ahead of CAR tie

Black Stars contingents have landed in Kumasi, the Ashanti regional capital for Ghana’s final 2023 Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON) qualifiers clash against the Central African Republic.

Twenty-four out of the invited twenty-five players together with the technical team led by Chris Hughton and his assistants landed in the afternoon of Tuesday, September 5.

They arrived about an hour ago after they left the shores of Accra to Kumasi with a flight.

Key players among the invited players that landed in Kumasi included captain Andre Dede Ayew, Jordan Ayew, Mohammed Kudus among others.

Highlight of team’s arrival is Jordan Ayew who joined the team late upon his arrival at the Kotoka Internationa Airport few hours ago as reported by Getsportsgh.com.

Upon their arrival, the team was welcomed by officials at the Kumasi Airport with few footballer lovers who avail themselves.

The stars will have their first training at the Baba Yara Stadium at 4:00 PM behind closed doors.
