Jordan Ayew touch down in Ghana for AFCON qualifier

Ghana forward Jordan Ayew has arrived in Ghana this afternoon ahead of the country’s crucial AFCON qualifier against Central African Republic.

The player who was among two players to have delayed in their arrival to the nation’s capital, Accra touch down on Tuesday, September 5, 2023.

Jordan and Richard Ofori were the only players left to arrived in camp despite the arrivals of their colleagues invited for the clash.

However, the Crystal Palace player, has landed at the Kotoka International Airport to join his teammates to set off to Kumasi., can report that South Africa-based goalkeeper, Richard Ofori will join the team straight at Kumasi this evening.

Jordan Ayew thus becomes the last but one player to arrive for the Black Stars duty on Thursday.

The Black Stars are expected to land in Kumasi this afternoon and start their first training in the Ashanti Region at 4:00 PM.

The contingent including the entire playing body and the technical team will be led by Black Stars Team Manager Ameenu Shardow.

The match against the Central African Republic will come on Thursday, September 7, 2023, at the Baba Yara Stadium.
