Hearts of Oak youngster complete Bofoakwa Tano loan switch

Hearts of Oak midfielder Benjamin Yorke has joined Bofoakwa Tano FC on a one-year loan deal with option to renewal.

Getsportsgh.com sources had it that the young forward completed his loan move to the Sunyani-based club after successful talks between the club and the player’s representatives.

Yorke who sought to continue his football dream joined the Ghana Premier League returnees after being deemed surplus to requirements by Hearts of Oak ahead of the new season.

Despite an impressive form for the Phobians in the 2023/24 season and becoming their topscorer, the club under a new technical direction did not include the youngster in their plans.

Thus, the enterprising forward and his representatives secure a loan deal at Bofoakwa Tano ahead of the 2023/24 season as reported in our earlier publication.

Yorke signed a five-year deal for Hearts of Oak from FC Samartex in August 2021 and was part of the club’s squad that won the Ghana Premier League, FA Cup, President Cup trophies under coach Samuel Boadu.
