Vincent Atingah extends Medeama contract

Captain of Medeama SC, Vincent Atingah Addae has extended his contract with the club keeping him at the club until 2024.

The 29-year-old whose contract nears expiration agreed to extend it with the Ghanaian champions for another year.

Atingah’s contract renewal was sealed and done after the club had successfully meet all terms and conditions required by him.

This means he will captain the team for the 23/24 season having committed his stay with the team amid the departure of general captain Kwasi Donsu.

Atingah who previously played for Hearts of Oak played a major role helping the team lift their historical Ghana Premier League title in 2022/23.

He recently guided Medeama SC to win their second Super Cup title after defeating Dreams FC 2-1 on Sunday September 3, 2023.

He also led the club to Nigeria to eliminate Remo Stars and booked a place to the second round preliminary round qualifies for the CAF Champions League.

They will face Horoya FC from Guinea whereby the winner book a ticket into the ground stage proper.

Vincent Atingah Addae joined the Mauve and Yellows on a free transfer after leaving Kuwait side Al Shabab in March 2021.

He was then signed alongside Zakaria Mumuni and Benjanim Arthur.
