Ten players arrive in Ghana camp

The Vice President of the Ghana Football Association (GFA), Mark Addo has revealed that about ten players have arrived at the Ghana camp to begin preparations for the Central African Republic qualifier.

The Black Stars will need at least a draw to secure a qualification to the AFCON in Ivory Coast.

And after the announcement of the Ghana squad on Saturday, Mark Addo has disclosed that about ten players have already arrived to begin camping ahead of the all-important game on Thursday.

“Per the information that I have about ten players have arrived in camp and the rest are expected to touch down before Tuesday”, Mr Addo who also doubles as the Black Stars management committee said on Kumasi-based Kessben FM on Monday, September 4, 2023.

In the qualification race, the Black Stars lead the group with nine points, followed closely by Angola with eight points, and Central African Republic with seven points.

Madagascar, with two points, sit at the bottom. The top two teams following the final round of matches will secure qualification for the tournament in Ivory Coast next year, making it a crucial match for Ghana, Angola, and Central African Republic.
